Gikan sa Baybay Padulong sa Pinggan

The Tuloy Heroes’ Recipe Book showcases value-added creations from coastal and farming communities, turning harvests into food innovations that fight food waste, preserve culture, and strengthen livelihoods.

Post-harvest losses continue to threaten food security and undermine the potential of the blue economy. In the Philippines, as much as 30-40% of food is lost after harvest, especially in fisheries and agriculture. This affects livelihoods, nutrition, and sustainability. Through this book, we highlight how food preservation, sustainable practices, and community-driven innovation can serve as powerful tools against waste and hunger.

This recipe book is made possible through the Tuloy Heroes project that aims to create youth-led sustainable fisheries networks and post-harvest fisheries alternative sites to pursue a participatory and inclusive circular blue economy in Negros Occidental. It is implemented by the Negrosanon Young Leaders Institute Inc. Center for Democracy and Participation and Tuloy Pa Rin through the strong support of the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia through the Youth and Oceans Programme.

Till and Tell: Isang Toolkit ng Paralegalism at Pangangampanya

The Till and Tell: Isang Toolkit ng Paralegalism at Pangangampanya compiles the essential lessons and training materials from the Rebranding Paralegal Empowerment for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (Rebranding PARRD) project. Designed for women and youth farmers, the toolkit provides practical knowledge on agrarian reform laws, land acquisition and distribution processes, policy advocacy, community organizing, and digital campaigning. By equipping the next generation of paralegals and storytellers, it strengthens farmers’ capacity to claim their land rights, challenge systemic barriers, and amplify their voices both in communities and digital spaces.

Implemented over two years by KAISAHAN and the Negrosanon Young Leaders Institute (NYLI), with support from the European Union’s Governance in Justice (GoJust) Program, Rebranding PARRD seeks to reach farmers across Negros Occidental and Leyte. The project ensures that knowledge and skills are passed on to women and youth as the new paralegal leaders, sustaining the struggle for genuine agrarian reform and rural development.
