Success Story – Project YES

Project YES once again empowered young people—this time in the South, Kabankalan!

We’re thrilled to share that 68 young participants joined the Project YES’ intensive workshop on November 25-26, 2024, held at the Kabankalan City Hall. The sessions focused on essential 21st-century skills: crafting resumes and CVs, acing job interviews, power dressing, financial literacy, and understanding labor laws and rights.

The following day, 243 jobseekers attended the Job Fair, where Project YES offered hands-on support through resume consultations and a free 2×2 photo booth, ensuring everyone was job-ready! One of the jobseekers who availed of the services was hired on the spot (HOTS) moments after the job fair! A testament to the project’s positive impact!
We are grateful to the deaf volunteers of Welcome Home Foundation Inc for their support and meaningful contribution in making the event more inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Finally, this marked the end of Project YES activities for the year. Throughout 2024, we’ve reached over a thousand young people across Negros Occidental. As we look back, we’re filled with immense hope and admiration for the grit and potential of the youth we’ve worked with.
